Kaleid Circles
Kaleid Circles are opportunities for women in the Kaleid community to See Ourselves, See Others, and See the City with greater clarity and compassion, together.
Believing that growth involves being grounded in God's love (contemplation), being aware of what's true (learning), and being active through new habits (embodiment), Kaleid Circles foster these things as we seek new vision for engaging ourselves, others, and our city.
In a Kaleid Circle, you will be with women experiencing shifts in similar directions as you. You may share passions, curiosities, or desires for impact in our city. A Kaleid Circle provides a space to the take the next step. Together, we learn and try new things, taking risks so that we may discover and create more expressions of God's Kingdom.
Circles are led by the Kaleid Team, a Kaleid woman who has completed Foundations, or a partner practitioner.

Focused Community Strategies: Open House
Join the Kaleid community from around Atlanta to learn about and participate in one of the stories God is telling in the city. We are partnering with Focused Community Strategies, a Christian Community Development organization that has partnered with under-resourced Atlanta neighborhoods for over 40 years. FCS invests deeply in one-neighborhood at a time (for the past 16 years in South Atlanta), building upon the neighborhood's strengths to create flourishing communities in our city.
Kaleid women will attend this event together, followed by a Kaleid Community debrief coffee discussion.
See Others
White Awake On-line Book Community
Begin or continue your journey in understanding white culture and identity. We'll explore the seven stages to expect on our own paths to cultural awareness. Gain new perspective on being white and become a more effective agent of reconciliation in our increasingly diverse and divided world. This 5 week on-line community gathers virtually via Zoom. It will be a safe, closed community for questions, honesty and connecting with other women on this journey.

Kaleid’s Summer Contemplative Prayer Series, “To Be Made Well,” will be a time to ask for and bask in the healing of God for our bodies, for our spirits, and for our world.
Our contemplative mornings together will include time with the three healing stories of Mark 5, and it will include reflection on some God’s gifts and practices designed to nurture our healing. We will engage in the practices of Lectio Divina, Visio Divina, and The Prayer of Examen.
Join us on Wednesday mornings for six weeks from May 18 - June 22 from 6:30 - 7:15 am via zoom. We would love to have you!
Kaleid Spring Retreat
Thursday, April 21 - Friday, April 22
Join Kaleid ladies at the Ignatius House Retreat Center in Northwest Atlanta for an overnight retreat. On the retreat, we are going to be coming home to God’s welcome as we spend time with the Shema, the Old and New Testament teaching to love God with our heart, soul, and strength. Our hope for the retreat is that we would all be reminded again that the space in which we live and move is God’s presence and God’s love: our true home.
Embracing Shifts: Embodiment
Fridays: Sept. 17 - May 20
Cultivate intentionality to live into shifts happening in your inner and outer worlds. This circle will focus on listening to the Spirit and listening to one another as we practice group discernment. We seek clarity and courage to embody God’s new life in us and in the world.
Lent Contemplative Circle
March 2 - April 13
Moses encountered God in the wilderness and heard the voice of God speak to him, “I AM who I AM.” Each week of Lent we will focus on one of the seven great ‘I AM” statements from the Gospel of John. Lent is wilderness time, a time of slowing down to be present to God’s desire for us and our desire for God.
In this series we will engage song, confession, scripture and silent reflection.
